Eligibility 

CTET Primary Level (Class I to V) Eligibility with Code

1. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
2. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 norms OR
3. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
4. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR
5. Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks in Bachelor's degree and appearing or passed in final year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) (a) who has obtained the qualification or Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized Institute of Teacher will be considered for appointment as Classes I to V Provided that the person appointed as a teacher shall compulsorily undergo a six months bridge course in elementary education recognized by the NCTE within two years of such appointment as a primary teacher OR
6. Post-graduation with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in final year of three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed

CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII) Eligibility with Code

1. Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR
2. At least 50% marks in Graduation or Post Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).OR
3. Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) as per NCTE norms OR
4. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
5. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year BA/B.Sc.Ed or BA.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR
6. Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed. / (B.Ed Special Education)
7. Any candidate who has B.Ed. program recognized by NCTE to be eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Further, as per the extant TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, a person who is pursuing any teacher education course (recognized by NCTE or RCI) as may be specified in the NCTE notification. date 23 August 2010 is also eligible to appear in TET/CTET. OR
8. Post-graduation with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in final year of three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.

How to Fill CTET July 2023 Exam Online Form

• All Interested Candidates can Apply Online from 27/04/2023 to 26/05/2023 .
• Note: This year the exam centers are limited in each city, the details of which will be visible live to the candidate while filling the form. All candidates who want their nearest exam center / city should apply as soon as possible because slots of exam city are limited
