- Honorable Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, Government of India launched the Sahara Refund Portal on 18 July 2023.
- Any citizen who applies online in the Sahara refund portal will be refunded his deposited money within 45 days.
- In Sahara Refund Portal, any citizen will get the status of their application through SMS from time to time and also citizens can check their status on the website of Sahara Refund Portal.
- On the orders of the Hon'ble Supreme Court, a portal has been created by the Government of India for the return of the money of all these committees whose money is deposited.

How to Fill Sahara Refund Portal Online Claim Form 2023

- Step 1 : First of all, you have to click on Depositor Registration in Sahara Refund Portal, after that you have to register by entering the last 4 digits of your Aadhaar card along with your mobile number.
- Step 2 : After depositor registration in Sahara Refund Portal, candidate has to click on depositor login and provide last 4 digits of his/her Aadhaar along with registered mobile number followed by OTP verification.
- Step 3 : After OTP verification in Sahara Refund Portal, the candidate has to fill his/her personal information like name, date of birth, father's name etc.
- Step 4 : For refund in Sahara Refund Portal, the candidate will have to upload the documents as well as update the details of his deposited money.
- Step 5 : Submit the information after updating all the claim details on Sahara Refund Portal, then download a form, take a print out of it and then upload it along with photo/signature and other details.
